St. Mary’s were delighted to receive around 400 hedgerow and trees to plant on the school grounds. These were provided by the ‘Trees on the Land Project’, in partnership with Centra and SuperValu. This is a fantastic project which promotes biodiversity and the development of a greener environment. P1 and P7 pupils enjoyed planting the trees and hedgerow on the school grounds. This is a lovely gift for P7 to have given our P1 pupils, before they transition to post-primary. We look forward to seeing both our P1 pupils and the trees flourish in the coming years.
