We continue to work with Sustrans to promote sustainable travel to and from school. Recently Ann-Marie Cox from the Sustrans charity helped P5-7 pupils give their bikes a spring clean. The children learned how to check their tyre pressure, pump them, check steering, oil the chains and give their bikes a good clean. Ann-Marie also offered P1-2 pupils an opportunity to work with her to ‘Ditch the Stabilisers’.
Last week all pupils and families were encouraged to walk, scooter ride a bike to and from school. We were delighted to be one of the top participating schools in Fermanagh. Our Eco Council are delighted to see their messages rolling into practice.
