We didn’t get a snow day at home, but P1 were very excited about getting to play in the snow at school. We spent time looking out for signs of winter, practised writing our names and letter sounds in the snow, fed the birds who are having a hard time in the recent cold spell, created a penguin huddle to keep warm and made our own snow blizzards. Needless to say, we had very cold toes when were arrived back in the classroom, but the fun was worth it!
