P1 had a brilliant morning with Bea from Sentinus. We had been learning about the Three Little Pigs story in our Literacy topic and today we became builders, designers and engineers, building houses from the story. We used dough, straws, sticks, pegs and Lego to build the houses. The children absolutely loved the activities and we had some excellent, robust creations that withstood the force of the wolf when tested.
Sentinus works with schools throughout N. Ireland to deliver programmes which promote enjoyment in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths).
