With lots of talk about climate change and ways we can look after our planet, primary 2 decided that it would be a good idea to plant a tree. On Thursday we took advantage of the dry spell and set to work. We chose a good location for our tree and began the heavy work of digging. We dug a large hole and planted the tree, being careful with the roots. We then explored our school grounds and had a colour hunt. Check out the lovely colours we found. After that we collected some leaves and created wonderful masterpieces of art. To finish we spent some time planting a variety of spring bulbs. We will watch these grow over the next few months. For now they are resting beneath the soil.
