P7s provide some eco friendly leaves for Catholic Schools Week
We celebrated Catholic Schools Week beginning the week of 27th January and took part in a number of activities such as creating post its on what the word harmony meant, a class charter based on harmony with your neighbour, celebrating a school mass on Grandparents' Day, making St. Brigid's crosses and producing leaves finding harmony with the world and environment we live in. It is important to have harmony in our world and be eco friendly as we fight climate change and global warming. The P7 leaves were displayed on the eco- school council display board and we hope the eco-council, children, parents and staff take notice. Lead by example- look at Greta. We can all make the world a better place for generations to come. It starts now! Some of the leaves are shown below:
