P7 pupils receive the Holy Spirit at Confirmation
The P7 pupils have been working hard since mid-term in their preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation. On 10th May 2019, they were confirmed by Monsignor O' Reilly. We have been learning many things relating to Confirmation, such as the other 6 sacraments, the special link to Baptism, Pentecost, gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit and the significance of taking a Confirmation name. It was a lovely evening and we no doubt that these P7 pupils put their gifts into action. It is important that they are guided by the holy spirit and that their sponsors help them on this journey. Many thanks to the parents for their preparation of the children and a big thank you to the sponsors, family and friends, readers, altar servers, Fr. King/ Monsignor O' Reilly, Mrs Kelly, Mrs Grew and the amazing choir, teachers, classroom assistants and anyone else involved. Well done to St. Patrick's Donagh as well and to Mr Grew for his help and support over recent weeks. We hope everyone enjoyed their evening!
