The Primary 7 class engaged and participated in a number of activities related to our topics and different problem solving situations from Maths Week Ireland. These included active learning and group work with a number of different strategies used such as doing the opposite, finding patterns, making a list or diagram and the process of visualisation. They really enjoyed estimating a minute without time and through different activities (squat/sing), playing PIG on the interactive whiteboard and finding different solutions to the number 100.
