The P7s took part in a number of activities to celebrate World Book Day. There were some great dress up characters from novels, we had an informative writing workshop from local author Aileen Magee, made some bookmarks and took part in a Big Bonanza World Book Day quiz. Some big Harry Potter fans too!
Reading is critical for a number of reasons and our pupils should be encouraged to spend time reading at home and developing their vocabulary. Research shows that reading for enjoyment is a big contributor to the success of an individual and we want our students to read a range of novels that they enjoy. Spend time reading at home, delve into a book and find the magic! Every day is a reading day!
