A big well done to Oisin Carson in P7 who was selected by the Irish News during their skill challenge. Oisin took part in a skills challenge and sent his skills challenge online. Keep practising those skills- Cul Camps could hopefully be on their way and the possibility of some football in the future!
This is a fantastic achievement and Oisin was one of three boys in Northern Ireland who won a special St. Mary's University College, Belfast training jersey. Isn't it lovely and I'm sure he will wear this with pride especially with so many of our teachers having trained through the "Ranch". Hopefully, we will see some children from St. Mary's PS Newtownbutler follow the path to St. Mary's College in the future.
Doesn't it show you that you should always enter competitions as "if you are not in, you won't win!". There are a number of art competitions and I'm sure you see other ones online so don't wait to do it, get involved and who knows, it could be you.
We all are very proud of you Oisin and a big congrats again! Putting St. Mary's Newtownbutler on the map positively!
