It’s been a busy few weeks in at St. Mary’s P.S. During the week 6th-10th February, we celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week, exploring the importance of self-awareness and expressing emotions. We finished the week with our Nurture lesson, playing Lego Pom Pom Maze building games. It was such fun! During the week 17th-24th February, we celebrated NI Science Festival by immersing ourselves in fasinating experiements which develop curosity and help children find out about cause and effect in the world of Science. The children got a few surprises when some of the substances that were mixed caused a chemical reaction!
