Primary 2 got busy last week, making their garden a friendly place to encourage birds to visit.
The boys and girls learned about local birds, their names, what they like to eat and where they nest. They know that Winter is a very hard time for birds and are showing their kindness in helping look after them.
Have a look at just how busy they were! Not only were they making their own bird feeders to attract birds, check out Kyron and his Dad making a bird nesting box. Lilly was up close and personal with her new friend the Robin, when it swooped in for some food from her hand. The boys and girls are completing the Bird Survey,by simply counting and writing what they see.
