Anti-Bullying Week 2021
Once again this year, we are planning numerous lessons and activities to mark Anti-Bullying Week. While we make every effort to prevent and address Bullying througout the year, this annual event always allows us an opportunity to remind everyone of our commitment to and focus on the prevention of Bullying in the school. I am pleased to announce that our revised Policy which reflects consultation with pupils, parents, staff and governors, is now available to view on the school website. The policy has been adapted to meet revised NI Legislation.
The school council are asking everyone to wear odd socks on Monday 15th and we will have a special assembly, to mark the start of this very important week in our school calendar. The school council have also arranged our annual poster competition and we look forward to displaying these in school. Every class also will participate in lessons and activities around this year's theme of 'One Kind Word' and we will continue to ensure that St Mary's is a happy school, where everyone is made feel welcome.
