This week, the P7 class are exploring the theme of anti-bullying and looking at what is bullying, the types of bullying and what can be done to make sure bullies do not succeed in school or elsewhere! It is all about making small positive changes and speaking out against those who are being bullied. We created some anti-bullying posters, looked further at cyber bullying, explored celebrity views on bullying and Orla even gave a presentation on the types of bullying. We can never be complacent on this issue and at St Mary’s we encourage our children to use STOP: Start Telling Other People if they are being bullied or see bullying happening.
