P7 have been very busy in Term 1! We have been working hard on our first P7 topic, 'Ireland'. So far, we have enjoyed learning about the provinces, the counties, who the Celts were and, most recently, Celtic art. We have done some fantastic research work on the Celts and their artwork. Many P7s have identified Celtic designs within their own homes too! We have began to identify different Celtic knots and we even had a chance to trace some designs on to our work. We have also played some games to introduce the Irish language back in to P7. We started by learning 'na dathanna' (the colours) for European Day of Languages.
