Day 13 involves another trip in P7 and this time it was to see the "Under the Hawthorn Tree" play at the Ardhowen Theatre in Enniskillen!
This was a fantastic outing for the children and a really good show which linked to our three novels as well. I think the pupils would agree that they really enjoyed reading the first two books and it captured their hearts and minds.It just shows you the power of a great book and reading!
The Famine was such a unique event for Ireland back in 1845 and now COVID 19 will be this in 2020. The Irish people rose again after the famine and I have no doubt we will as well.
